There is a lot of hype these days about the benefits of soy candles.  It can be a little confusing so take a minute to understand how our Gourmet Candle has evolved.

Our “Master Candle Maker”, Carmen Milazzo, started making candles using pure Soy wax because he knew they would be clean burning and longer lasting.  He also omitted ingredients that contained paraffin or petroleum products!

His vision and goal was to create the strongest, best smelling Natural Wax candle in the marketplace.  He began to try a blend of Soy and other Vegetable Waxes and Beeswax too!  He soon discovered that by using this blend he could produce a candle that held MORE fragrance than the pure Soy candle did.

The results have been amazing and that is how our Gourmet Candle was born!

Today, we refer to our candle as a “Natural Wax Candle”.  Although the soy candle business has become the latest and greatest in candle technology, many candle lovers have been switching to natural vegetable waxes!

Carmen’s opinion is that gourmet candle users want strongly scented candles that give a realistic scent while covering a large area.  He found that his natural vegetable wax blend burned just as clean as soy AND could hold more scent.  More scent is what people want.
