    We decided to create this page so you can see for yourself that we are a real family.

    Our daughters get involved with our candle business and they are committed to our success.  Just like we will be 100% committed to YOUR success.

    We came up with our business name "Healthy Home Scents" because we were so impressed by the Healthy aspect of the products.  We joined the Candle of The Month Program in February 2005.  Four years have gone by very quickly and we have grown so much.

    Understand that we never had a home business before, done any kind of retailing or fundraising and had no clue what residual income even meant.

    We took a chance and stepped out of our comfort zone because we wanted a better lifestyle for all of us.  Mainly, our daughters became our "why" for starting this business.  So, think about that for a moment.  

    What Is Your "Why" for starting a home business?

    Getting back to how this all started, Ron was searching on the internet for something Donna could do from home.  Donna worked full time and lots of overtime and came home stressed out everyday.  It was taking its toll on her and Ron knew he just had to find a better way.

    He came across a web page for a free candle drawing and filled out the form.  Ever since he knew Donna she loved burning candles.  At the bottom of the form was a check box to receive more information on a candle business working from home.  Wow!  Perfect!

    We didn't win the free drawing but it wasn't long before a lady called us and wanted to know what it was that we were looking for.  Well, to tell you the truth, we didn't really know what were looking for only that we needed to make money and hopefully bring Donna home and away from all that stress!

    Now even though Ron took the initiative and filled out the form for more information, he quickly became very skeptical because this lady was talking about making a significant income.  She said you could even make a six figure income with this "little candle business".

    We dialed into a business opportunity call and listened to the company leaders and other distributors explain all about the business and the possibilities that existed.  It just kept sounding better and better.  Could this be real?  Was everything they were saying true?

    We had to give it a try.  What did we have to lose?  If nothing else we would have clean burning candles for ourselves which we buy all the time anyway.  

    The fact remained that we needed additional income to be able to provide our daughters with college educations that we want so much for them.  This is very important to us and we want to give them the chance to pursue their dreams, whatever they may be.

    Working from home is another strong "why" for establishing our business.  We can be our own boss and run the business the way we want.  We will take vacation or time off whenever we desire!

    We quickly discovered after joining that all the tools and support was there for us just like everyone had said.  There is No Doubt in our minds from everything we have experienced thus far that we are on our way to financial independence!  We have seen others in the company succeed and we know that, in time, we will succeed too!

    We can't stress enough our commitment to anyone who wishes to join us because your success is also very important to us!
